The north of the city is bounded by the Tanzawa range with peaks in the 1,205 to 1,672m (4,000 to 5,000 ft.) range. The south is in the form of a basin surrounded by hills and mountains. Mountains occupy 50% area of the city.

Hadano City is located at 139°13’ east longitude and 35°22’ north latitude. Our city is situated in the central part of Kanagawa Prefecture 60㎞ from Tokyo and 37㎞ from Yokohama.
