We, the citizens of Hadano with unceasing hope for peace have appended the following to our citizen charter: ”We take pride in our city of peace-loving citizens”
Our responsibility is to seek for everlasting peace with a firm commitment and to continue to protect the land we love for our future generations.
However, military warfare continues to break our in various areas around the world, and limitless build-up of militaru strength and nuclear weapons pose a serious threat to the existence of mankind.
Eternal peace to reign throughout the world is the sincere hope of each and every person.
We, the citizens of Hadano, in this International Year of Peace, firmly uphold the three principles of anti-nuclear weapons, and moreover,
hope for the abolishment of all forms of nuclear weapons in all countries.
In hopes of maintaining peace forever in this world, we hereby declare Hadano City, a City of Peace.
