We, Citizens of Hadano, under the beautiful nature of Tanzawa mountains, hoping with all our heart for unlimited prosperity of our city, hereby establish The Citizens, Charter.
This city, in which all of the citizens love peace, is our pride.
This city, full of clean water and refreshing air, is our life.
This city, in which all of the citizens work healthfully and vigorously, is our aspiration.
This city, in which all of the citizens create a rich culture, is our hope.
We pledge that our city will be full of democratic spirit.
We enacted this Citizens’ Charter on October 1, 1969
